Creating datasets is a feature that is only available for customers on the Enterprise plan.
Datasets allows you to share items from one organization to another, this can be used to share time series with a customer, partner or any other external user. When you share data this way, users can see the item data, but will not have access to the underlying integrations or signals.
Creating your first dataset
In order to create a dataset, you will need to be member of both the organization where the item should be shared from, and the organization that you want to share the items with. In addition, you will need to be an administrator in the organization where you are creating the dataset. Navigate to the
Datasets menu inside the admin panel, open the
Created section and then click the blue button in the upper right corner to begin creating a new dataset. Watch the short video below to see the full process!
